The St Buryan branch began with Thomas Lanyon and Elizabeth Jonnes in 1658. This is a huge branch of the family with breakaway branches in St Just in Penwith.
St Buryan church dates from the 15th century although there are some parts from an older church. It’s named after St Buriana.
